Sulfate Removal at the Jerritt Canyon Mine
Apex Engineering is designing several biochemical reactors (passive bioreactors) to remove sulfate and total dissolved solids (TDS) in seepage from rock disposal areas (RDAs) at the Jerritt Canyon Mine near Elko, NV. Working with Morrison-Maierle, Inc., we are submitting plans to the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection to begin construction in Summer 2014.
