The Montanore Mine is a proposed gold/silver operation near Libby, Montana. In the first phase of development, the mine needed to be partially dewatered and treated water had to meet stringent discharge limits. Following pilot testing, ultrafiltration was selected to meet the low discharge limits, particularly for lead. Apex Engineering was brought in as a technical consultant for the project to develop treatment options and assist in pilot testing.
